Here is a wonderful thing to do on Saturday 10 September 
Visit the Opawa Community Garden Open Day. This great day is a market day and garage sale.

This Sunday we hope to finish harvesting and finish our second Orcharding cycle with a low key celebration, in the form of a shared afternoon tea.

Please join us from 1:30 PM on Sunday June 5,
at Kaputone Community Orchard, 581 Marshland Road.
(Food at around 3 PM)

Bring bags, buckets or boxes for apples, a ladder for harvesting and some food to share (as in the past the ideal is something featuring the year’s harvest, either from the Orchard or something of your own).

There’s likely to be a surplus of apples, so if you can’t make it, but would like to share the harvest, please let us know.

The weather forecast for Sunday5 June is brilliant sunshine.
Time to celebrate at Packe St Park and Community Garden. 10 - 4 pm. Come any time.

There will be plenty of ways you can help in the garden.
